What is ToneLab.photo?

ToneLab.photo is a pro-grade photo editor that runs entirely in your web browser. You get a full Develop panel — exposure, contrast, white balance, film grain and vignette — plus 23 hand-built cinematic presets, each with a 0–100% intensity slider.

Do my photos get uploaded?

No. ToneLab.photo is fully private — your photos never leave your device. All editing happens on-device, with no accounts and no uploads.

Do I need to install anything or sign up?

No. It runs in your browser with no account required. You can optionally 'Add to Home Screen' to install it as an app that works offline on phone, tablet or laptop.

Does ToneLab.photo work offline?

Yes. Once the page has loaded, ToneLab keeps working with no internet — even in airplane mode — because your photos are edited on your device, not on a server. Add it to your home screen to use it like an offline app.

Is there a free version?

Yes. The free tier includes the full core editor and 10 presets, with export up to 2048 px — no watermark and no sign-up. Pro is a one-time $19, not a subscription, and unlocks the HSL colour mixer, the other 13 presets, full-resolution export and custom saved presets.

What presets are included?

23 hand-built looks, each with a 0–100% intensity slider. Free: B&W Classic, Film Fade, Sun City, Colour Wash, Golden Hour, Chrome, Coastal Air, Moody Matte, Night Flash and Flash Realism. Pro adds Anderson Pastel, Orange Cinematic, Green Cinematic, Teal & Orange, Duo Noir, Duo Punch, Heavy Grain, Laura, Bleach Bypass, Cross Process, Night Neon, Sun Bleach and Kodak 800 Film.

How does Pro work across my devices?

Pro is a one-time purchase. A licence key is emailed to you after checkout; paste it into the app to unlock Pro on every device you own.
